There is no bill shock, simply add more via the Everyday Mobile from Woolworths app as you need it.

We offer a range of data only International Roaming packs based on the region you are travelling to and Global packs that cover more destinations with a Voice, SMS and Data only option.  Check out the breakdown of our International Roaming Packs below.

Your billed number of days will start the day after you purchase an International Roaming Pack.

What is International Roaming?

International roaming or 'global roaming' is a service that allows you to use your mobile phone overseas. You can access helpful resources when travelling such as maps and ride-sharing apps with our data only packs. We also offer a global pack option to make calls and send SMS. If you have a Everyday Mobile from Woolworths plan, you can choose one of our International Roaming Add-ons which includes various options that lasts between 1 and 7 days when you're overseas. By purchasing an Add-on, you'll be able to make the most of your trip straight away with access to online maps, travel, messaging and social media apps.

How does International Data Roaming work?

Data roaming works by extending the coverage of the mobile operator's network, allowing you to use your existing phone number within another destination. For example, have you ever turned your phone on at an overseas airport to order a taxi and realised that you are already connected to the network? This is because Telstra has a wholesale roaming agreement with the visited mobile operator network. View the International Roaming - eligible destinations.

What happens if I don't purchase an International Roaming pack?

With Everyday Mobile from Woolworths, your data roaming is already turned on, so you can receive SMS at no extra charge when you are overseas. This means you can still do your banking and get security verifications while overseas without needing to purchase an Add-on. Our cost-effective data packs are available from less than $1 per day, with options tailored to your destination. If you need calls and texts, our 1-day Global International Pack has you covered.

The International Roaming Pack should appear in your account instantly after purchase. If you have purchased an International Roaming Pack and can’t see it in your account, reach out to us via our contact us page.
All Everyday Mobile from Woolworths customers can receive SMS when overseas without adding a Roaming Add-on, when your phone successfully connects to an eligible roaming operator in one of the Eligible Destinations. This means you can still do your banking and get other security verifications while overseas without needing to purchase an Add-on.
You will need to purchase an International Roaming Pack if you want to use data when you don’t have access to wifi. There is also an option to purchase a daily global pack which allows you to also make calls and send SMS. The International Roaming add-on inclusions are applied to your service straight away meaning you can instantly use your service while overseas. Depending on which add-on you purchase, you will receive 7 full days or 1 full day to use your inclusions. Your billed number of days will start from the day after you purchase the International Roaming Add-on. For example, if you purchase a "1 day" International Roaming Add-on at 6pm today, it can be used immediately and will expire at 11:59pm tomorrow night. Be sure to purchase your International Roaming Add-on as near to your travel date as possible.
Log into My Account or the Everyday Mobile from Woolworths app and select “Add-ons” and choose an International Roaming Pack that suits you.
If you have already purchased one of the following packs, you will be able to use it based on the conditions at the time of purchase:
  • - 1 day International Roaming - $12
  • - 7 day International Roaming - $45
  • - 14 day International Roaming - $70
You can purchase another data only pack from less than $1 per day, based on the country or countries you are travelling to. If you need calls and texts, our 1-day Global International Pack has you covered.
Yes, you can purchase different add-ons at the same time. You cannot purchase the same add-on multiple times - doing so will forfeit any previous inclusions. If you purchased multiple different add-ons at the same time, then the add-on with the earliest expiry will always be consumed first. If the add-ons have the same expiry, then the following usage priority will be applied:
  • 1. 7 day Pacific Roaming - Data only
  • 2. 7 day Asia Roaming - Data only
  • 3. 7 day North America Roaming - Data only
  • 4. 1 day Global Roaming
  • 5. 7 Day Global Roaming - Data only
Your device should automatically connect to the local network, however, you may need to restart your device or turn airplane mode on/off. Alternatively, you can manually connect to a network via your device settings. For iOS go to ‘Mobile’ in the settings menu. For Android, go to ‘Network & Internet’ or ‘Connections’ depending on your device. Check your manufacturers guide for detailed steps.
